SELF-PORTRAITS: WHEN I SEE MYSELF

Through the making of a variety of different and non-traditional personal portraits, interactive exercises, and sharing our images in a safe and nurturing environment, this workshop guides us in creating a poetic and soulful view of our inner landscape, as reflected in our outer images.  We’ll discuss ways these images can support us in moving towards the unknown territory of the future, towards what’s calling to us now. 

In the art world, self-portraits show up in many different ways, from the realistic and literal to the imaginal and abstract. We will create, explore, journal and share several types of entirely non-traditional self-portraits. Bring a journal and be prepared for a brief seven-year life cycle review in the 2-day workshop.
