Erik Erikson said that every stage of life involves re-assessing our identity. Through the making of several different and non-traditional personal portraits, interactive exercises, and sharing our images in a safe and nurturing environment, this workshop guides us in creating a soulful view of our inner landscape & identity, as reflected in our outer images. We’ll discuss ways these images can support us in moving towards the unknown territory of the future, towards what’s calling to us now. In the art world, self-portraits show up in many different ways, from the realistic and literal to the imaginal and abstract. We will create, explore, journal and share several non-traditional self-portraits as a guide to self-discovery.
