EXPLORING ART & IMAGE AS ORACLE & GUIDE
When we receive an oracle we receive guidance, knowledge, or illumination from a mysterious source beyond the personal self, often from nature, a word spoken in a crowd, or a dream. In the right setting and atmosphere, our very own artwork also has the potential to be the oracle that we seek. Q&A Art© is a process designed to access the wisdom in our own images. It involves an art-making process and uses image, imagination and intuition to guide and empower us by responding to authentic questions about our lives. In a sacred setting, a simple but surprise Q&A process allows the art-maker to gain new knowledge, wisdom or reassurance about their life’s vital questions, burning issues or everyday conflicts or concerns. By developing questions, reflecting on our art, and making connections between our words and images, we access information that typically brings fresh insights and perspectives.
